About Us

Irongate Apartments, located just outside Virginia, MN, is a well-maintained low-income housing apartment community for families, individuals with disabilities and people aged 50 years and over. Rent payment assistance is available to those who qualify.

The property has 64-one and two-bedroom apartments and 12 townhome apartments. A range of supportive services are available to tenants including home health aids, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and homemaking.

Aurora is located on the edge of the Superior National Forest and is located two miles (3 km) from Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort. Popular recreational activities of the residents of Aurora and nearby area include hunting, fishing, boating and skiing. The property is also in close proximity to Essentia Health Northern Pines and the cities of Virginia, Hibbing and Eveleth, Minnesota.
